Ishihara Awa Foaming Net

One of the many things I purchased while in Taiwan was this Ishihara Awa Foaming Net. I have heard that using this to wash my face will help the cleanser get deeper into my pores for a better cleansing.
This was pretty cheap, around $3 at Sasa.
I have no idea what "Awa Awa" means but it sure is funny to say over & over again ^o^

It's a net bag with a drawstring to hold it closed. It comes with a suction hook so you can hang it to dry.

The inside of the net contains these 3 mini loofahs. These things are what create the thick foam.

To use, you just wet the net and add the cleanser onto the net. Then you just mush it around to create a nice & thick lather.
When the desired amount of foam is created, you take as much of it off onto your hands as possible.
Then wash your face with the nice pillowy foam.

The net helps create tiny tiny bubbles so the foam is nice and thick. It helps get into your pores better & removes more dirt and makeup. I love using it because the foam feels so nice on my face XD
Very cheap and affective! My face feels much cleaner compared to just washing my face with regular cleanser.

  7. Hmm suprising! oh and on the package, it actually says "fuwa fuwa" in hiragana right below the girl's face! also at the top of the package. Japanese seem to have lots of those onomatopoeia. :P

  15. OOooo theres little loofah things inside!! I bought one from Muji which has only the net outside. I've stopped using it tho cos it was getting a bit mucky underneath the bit where the hook is :S I am not quite sure what the best way of washing it is...

  21. Ooh I love that yours has a suction hook. The one I bought did not. T_T I'm crazy about foam but found that my Purpose cleanser doesn't get foamy enough for me to use it. D'oh!

  23. Oooo I've never seen loofahs for the face before! I've only ever seen them for the body for showers and stuff. They should make these more mainstream because it's a good way to reduce the amount of product you use.

And omg Taecyeon looks so hot! Look at those guns on him @___@ hahaha

  24. Love those nets but since moving I haven't found a place to keep it dry so I've stopped using it.. luckily I've found a way to foam up my soap. I actually bought a new one that stowed away in my draws haha

  25. So your regular foam cleanser doesn't foam up that much? This seems sooooooooooo cool!! I want to try it! I don't use a foam cleanser at the moment though. lol ...after I finish my current. xD

Ah Mens Health.. you will be the death of me.. I remember Chansungs.. :Q____

  26. I got this as a gift and initially thought you were supposed to use a mini loofah to scrub your face, haha. I use a little squishy ball to create the same foam with my soap/cleanser; dunno why but the foam makes my face feel cleaner, plus you don't have to tug around your face as much to get it clean - less wrinkles!
